Rock with bubble algae and mushrooms.

I have a rock that has bubble algae on it along with mushrooms in my 14G BioCube and would like to move it to my 29G BioCube.
I don't want the bubble algae going into the 29G tank. Would it work out if I pulled out the rock, plucked off the bubble algae without breaking them, pour some RO Water (without salt) over the rock to rinse it and then put it into the new tank?
I really don't want to transfer over the bubble algae, but I would really like to get that rock w/ mushrooms into the new tank.
..Also, is there anything that eats bubble algae?

Yank the rock out, coat them in superglue, and then break them away. Rinse the rock in fresh saltwater and put them in your other tank.(provided the params are similar so you don't shock your shrooms) Mushrooms are pretty damn tough I might add. They can survive out of the water for a short while without being seriously damaged.

..coat the bubble algae in super glue?
Any certain type? And wouldn't the left over chems be harmful?

yes, coat the bubbles in the super glue gel (gel is very important) just make sure the super glue contains "Cyanoacrylate"
Also, there are no residual chemicals to worry about.

Take a hose you would use to siphon your tank put it over the bubble and suck them out. They are not as fragile as you would think

Emerald crabs will eat it in a heart beat. I had a really bad outbreak of it in my 90g. I out about 5 in there and they took care of it.

+1
I've actually purchased corals with bubble algae attached, knowing my emerald crabs would clean them off.
