So I have had this tank for about a month now. It never went throgh a cycle because I used sand, water, rock from my 60 gallon. Right now It has the folowing:
Brown Palys
Xenia
Hammer coral
Coral Banded shrimp - Peppermint
Spotted cardanel fish - Nacho
I will get pics up ASAP

I got the coral banded shrimp yesterday so he is scared right now. He is not pictured but I will get his pic As soon as he comes out.
I also have more pics coming soon. They are delaide because I need to reduce the KB size.

Wierd. My brown palys I cought eating hair algea. It was floating around and I found them eating it. It is sticking out of there mouths

I added a SeaClone Protien skimmer to the back. It is a little noisy. It also make bubbles in the tank. I dont know if they are temporary or forever. I guess We will find out soon!

The protien skimmer lighted up on the bubbles in the tank.
Now tha tank is growing alot of Brown Hair algea. Anyone know what eats it?

Sorry I havent posted in a wile. I put lots more live rock in the tank. I won an auction from eba-y. I got some blue acropora and a red monti. Both $40 total. I pick them up tomorow. I will try to post pics of the tank now.

i know blue legged hermits eat hair algae and some snails (I think astrea) do too if the hairs are short enough. If they are long, manually remove them with your hand and your CUC will eat what you have mowed down. You have to be persistant though about it. I have seem quite a few people really go to battle with it and come out victorious! Search around, check out CatFishCity's forum, thats a good example.
