has anyone had trouble connecting their rodi unit to the faucet? just got mine and it leaks like crazy. I have a coralife pure-flo II. if I use the rubber ring the treads won't catch and without it it leaks.
going to try some pipe tape. any other ideas?

well the pipe tape worked for the most part (still leaking a little and im sure that is effecting the pressure some but not too much)... this thing seems soooo slow (50gpd) lol... probably need 165g to get it up and running but i still need to build the stand (this weekend) and finish the plumbing so i have a little time... hope to have the cycle started by monday but this is a little optomistic seeing how i need to also get rock and salt... sorry if these posts are irritating to you, i like to talk to myself on here a lot... lol...

most of the online stores sell the exact same meter (DM-1: IN-LINE DUAL TDS MONITOR). Just order from the online store where you need something else to save on shipping.

just bought my meter at my LFS. paid 30 for it. thought it was better to do that than have my wife see me spending money on it. as for your RO unit. it is going to be pretty slow. as long as it makes 50gpd you are set. time how long it takes it to make 2 gallons or something to test it out
