"rolly poolie"?????

ok so today when i looked at my nano i saw like 3 or 4 of these rollie poolie looking things in my cheato. are they good/bad?
they seem to "run away" when i turned on my lights. they went into a shaded area.
should i be worryed? i dont want anything to kill my fish

they have about 10-15#s of it in that tank. how big can they get? these are about 1/16" and when i turn on the lgiht they retreat back into dark rock covered area.
i have smaller pods but never anything this big. thats y i ask.

They are more than likely a harmless sphaeromatid.

im not sure if that is what i have but they look much smaller then that. i kinda looks like they are eatting/living on my cheato. they move kinda slow at first but then they really pick up the speed one the light is on. antics first-move slowly. daylights- they move fast.

lol, amphipod is the first thing that came to my mind as well.
They grow in chaeto pretty regularly. Make nests. Pretty neat.

that looks more like it. its got brownish tan skin and i hates light. i dont know if the amphipod hates light but it looks as if a nest could there.
are they bad?
do the reproduce quickly?
