Hello all, Daily viewer first time poster so forgive me if any errors.
Tank has been running 1.5 months. My problem just like alot of people in the disease thread is Ich. 2 damsels are not happy at all. The one will proably not make it through the next couple of days. So after I was told about this great stuff greenex I am now skimmer and running carbon due to your help.
My question is if the damsels do croak before my quarentine takes get set up will the ich still live because of the gobie?? Can I just wait the 21 days before trying more damsels? The hypo seems to be the most logical way to go. But I dont want my cool little snails and crabs to die. Believe it or not ***** first told me about it. She said all the chemicals they carry are crap and she would not buy anything for reef there.
Also I am not happy my fluval filters are green now. Is this OK or should I try to bleach them and dry completely before us? Just minor amount of bleach.
I eventually want to go reef so copper in my main tank is not feasible. What do you folks think? Am I headed down the right track with the ich. Should I just wait before adding more damsels?
Oh and only 20lbs of live rock so far. Looks like some of my live rock fund is going to a 10 gal tank.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
