But seriously, 46G can hold these two tangs temporarily if they are small. But in time (sooner rather than later), they will outgrow it and need space to roam. A 6 foot tank is ideal as these fish like to swim long distances. The smallest that you can get away with long term might be a 75 but that is iffy too.

Seriously, I wouldn't recommend even trying juvenile tangs in that size tank. Even a 2 inch blue hippo will be stressed enough to likely break out with ich and/or HLLE. Juvenile tangs are more susceptible to stress-related issues than an adult, and an adult certainly can't survive in that size tank.
