Rose Anemone & Maroon

It started to move around and it was that time the Maroon went into it. And the anemone started climbing the cliff!

is having bulbs something hard to achieve?
as for my lighting, here are the specs:
Dual Daylight 6,700°K/10,000°K and Dual Actinic 420nm/460nm bulbs.
two 96-watters.
The bulbs are the greastest when only the 6700K light (blue) is on. Anemone doesn't respond much even if both lights are on.
I feed it squid, two to three times a week. It LOVES it.

Great pics!! I have two clowns and my toadstool leather coral has hosted them. I wish I had enough light for a RBTA, but I only have 2 10K day bulbs and two actinic(sp?) lights with a moon light. if you have any more pics it would be great to see them. Big fan of the Maroon!!

I believe that's the same type of lights I have.
And it's more than enough. My anemone especially likes the actinic lights.
I think the old formula of watts over gallon is inaccurate to say the least. It disregards dimensions and placement. It's the old belief that to throw more lights at the tank and everything will be okay.

That's a royal gamma.
Played hide and seek with my six-line wrasse in the beginning. Now they get along fine.

snailheavan...were you talking to me about enough light...I have that much light on a 30gallon tank and from what everyone else at this site has told me that isn't near enough...plus i am really just interested in trying to breed my maroons, not for profit, but for fun...let me know about my light and any ideas you have with it..thanks

Yes I was. Is your lighting something called Satellite bleh bleh bleh? Coz that's the one I have except it's a different size. It has two 96-watt, Dual Daylight 6,700°K/10,000°K and Dual Actinic 420nm/460nm bulbs, with 3 moon lights.
My tank is 75G, and if using the watts over gallon formula, it comes out with roughly 2.5 watts per gallon. So if the formula was 100% accurate, my anemone should've been weak and shrunk by now. But it hasn't. It has gotten bigger and has healthy looking bulbs. Heck, it even gains bulbs under puny fluorscent light. My anemone is about a foot away from the light source.
I am by no means an expert of anemone keeping or lighting but the results are there. I am pretty sure, though, there's more than watts per gallon to lighting.
