royal gamma in reef tank dying

Hello all,
I am new to this forum. How's everyone doing? I have a royal gamma dying in my 29 gallons reef tanks. I don't know how to get the sick fish out without breaking down my tank. Any suggestion?

Welcome to the board! I have only had to do this once since I started my reef. However, by the time I found the pgymy angel, the clean-up crew had been at work and they drug the remains (which was not much)out into the open. In fact another 12 to 24 hours and nothing would have been left. I also did not have an ammonia spike which really surprized me. I use a long chopstick to move stuff inside the tank. You could try something like that. However, you may well end up mving rocks!
Good luck,
Connie

Sometimes my cleanup crew handles this before I discover that I've lost one. If use a small wooden dowel sharpened at the end, just like a chopstick also. Good luck! I have move rock though as a last result.

Disturb any inflated corals until they withdraw, they drain the tank. Most fish are rendered incapable of motion at this point.
