I have not seen my Gramma for 4 days.....Do they tend hide for this long or is he a goner? I haven't seen him day or night, not even for feeding time....
Please let me know if there is any hope!
Thanks

Aiber,
If I remember correctly, you had a few fish die not too long ago. I would think if the rg hasn't been out for that long, she's more than likely dead. I would try moving some rocks a little with a flashlight in hand to see if you can see her. If you have a big clean up crew, they might have done their job already, though.

Yes, the fish that had died were the perculas...The gramma, however, was? very healthy and then disappeared from one day to the next......I have hope b/c I hadn't seen two yellow CBS and then they reappeared after a week.....I have a lot of rock work with alot of nooks and crannys......
I'll let you know...
Thanks

Still haven't seen the gramma. He's probably a goner. Yesterday I fed brine shrimp. He used go crazy for it. It's odd, however, that there has been no sign of the carcass. I say that b/c I always noticed the dead snails.
Thanks

Those darn aliens and their abductions....

same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. They just walked thorugh the door, took my little clown outta my tank while I was sitting on the bed, and jumped down the toilet. Ill get them back though!!!

You may be surprised....
About a year ago I bought a firefish goby. Three weeks later after determining it had to be dead, BOOM! There it was.
Might not be the case, but its something to think about especially in larger tanks and LOTS of live rock.
