I was wondering why SWF consideres the royal gramma as moderate in care level?

I honestly dont know... When I started almost a year ago and very inexperienced I was told I could cycle my tank with one. Which I did, it lived well over 6 months and I gave it to a friend of mine she is still alive to this day. But that was just one fish, maybe I got lucky.

Actually I have a question for you.
I have a blown paired with a kelp plant and a 6line wrasse
i bought a bluefin pygmy angel thinking it wouldnt eat the kelp but i was foolishly mistaken
it's eating it and stressing the clown out
i want another fish... i have coral, a kelp plant, inverts
is a gramma a good choice?
i had a fire fish but it jumped too much as hid too much

I think its a good choice, they do hide in the LR though. Other than that mine was pretty peacful to other tank mates. At certain times she would show her aggression but it was nothing more than her opening her mouth wide like yawning and then ususally just retreating back into her LR house. Seeing as though it would be introduced after the clown I dont think she will be a problem.

I added mine to my tank that had two clowns. She is a bit shy but seems to be very hardy. Eats anything I feed with a very healthy appetite. She did hide a lot at first but now spends quite a lot of time in plain sight. So far the care level has been easy. I've only had my tank up for about four months.
It's a beautiful fish. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

i could never get mine to live long enough to get him out of QT IMO the are NOT an easy fish to introduce to your tank i hope you have better luck then i did

Mine likes to hide alot and I think they can be touchy with other fish. When I introduced my blue hippo, the gramma would open its jaw and act like he wanted to go after the tang.

Not sure about the moderate thing. The place I got my RG from lists it as easy care. I have a pair of clowns, a firefish, and a yellow clown goby. The RG has acted a little agressive a couple of times, but so far I believe he is all bark and no bite. Most of the time he never pays much attention at all to the other fish. It is surely a beautiful fish.

They are truly beautiful that’s why I tried so hard to keep one I think the question of ease of care in not so much how they react to other fish but how easy they are to keep alive and in my experience they just are not that easy to get from QT to DT

Mine has been in my DT for about 10 months, its a very active fish, and is always out! Easy IMO

Midas Blennys are very very easy IMO. I call them dog fish, because their personality reminds me a lot of a dog. The only downside to them is that they are jumpers.. so protect rear chambers and open top tanks need some type of fix. Other than that they are great and IMO do not display the typically blenny behavior. They like to perch rather than hide under things, and they love to swim in the water column and you can see them scraping the glass of your tank or LR for algea too. They eat pretty much everything. Mine eats Formula 1 frozen, Omega 1 flake, cyclops and ORA glow pellets..so far. They are probably one of my favorite fish...

Unlike most blennies, the Midas Blenny requires a meaty diet including finely chopped crustacean flesh, mysis and vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, along with frozen herbivorous preparations, micro and blue-green algae. that being said I would not chance it your blenny may not eat your kelp plant but he may nip at it from time to time to try it out

can anyone name one fish that can stand up the the clown and 6line, be reef safe, and not eat my kelp? I would love for them to not be incredibly dull or shy either
