So what is "rear curtain" flash? I know what flashing is, but never heard it put this way. The reason I ask is because my Royal Gramma flashes and I can't seem to see anything wrong with her. She started over a week ago, but doesn't seem to do it as much now. No ich spots to this point, so not sure (all parameters are good). She's been in my QT for three weeks and I'm leaving her there for another week just in case.
Edit: Are you talking about the camera setting?

yes - it is a camera setting on my nikon d80 - one of the flash modes called "rear curtain" - it blurrs light at the end of an exposure - my pic is different, but not what the effect is supposed to look like
