royal gramma with white blotches

ive got a royal gramma and this is the second day ive had him he is starting to come out from behind the rocks alittle more but still hasnt eaten that i have seen and he also has some white blotches on him i almost looks like theres no scales there or something any idea what this could be or could it just be from him hiding up against the rocks so much. my amonia nitrite are 0 and nitrate is 0 as far as i can tell

It could possibly be Ich if its small white raised spots the size of a grain of salt.One thing about Royal Gramma's is they are sensitive to changing water conditions.Put it into a quarintine tank ASAP if you have one.Good luck.
