Royal Gramma wuss?

I have this RG that used to be out and about in the tank all of the time... all of a sudden I noticed that he didnt come out of his cave anymore. When I feed he come out of the cave but doesnt really wander out of the rocks to feed. He does seem to be interested in the food though. While trying to feed he does manage to get some food but nothing like before... Why would he be acting "scared" all of a sudden?

Something could be picking on it, what else is in the tank with it?

Also sit infront of your tank for awhile and observe him closely. Make sure you don't see anything wrong with him. Sometimes small ich spots are hard to see on them or cloudy eyes, tattered fins?

I agree with the above two posts. If everything seems to be in check and you have not added anything new that is harassing him then don't worry too much. Sometimes they just like their cave.

Well not to sound like a know it all or anything, but the first thing Ive done is observe him to see if there is anything physically wrong with him.
Fins are good. Body is good. Eyes are ok. Nothing seems wrong with him. When I feed he just hangs out in the cave... when I dont feed, he's always in the cave.
He wasnt like this before.... he was one of the more aggresive of the fish that I have.
Tank mates are O. Clown, Midas Blenny, Red lip Blenny, Coral Beauty, Yellow Watchman. Nope of the fish harass him in any way that Ive seen. They're all mellow fish
I guess I shouldnt worry about it too much ?!?

I would not worry too much. They spend a lot of time in their chosen cave. He will come out to eat.
