royal gramma

hi i have a powder brown tang and a yellow tang in a 40 gal. hexagon i also have a royal gramma in there the but i don't see the gramma to much because he hides in the live rock all the time, what i want to know is would he come out more if i get another royal gramma in there??

It will not help to get another one as a matter of fact you may have a fight on your hands if you do. Also Royal Grammas hide alot after being introduced into a new tank after awhile he will come out more. HTH

royal grammas like subdued lighting, so adding another probalby won't help, besides,if you are to have more than one, they reallly should have at least a 55 gallon tank

Everything I've ever heard is to stay with just one Gramma per tank, especially being a 40 gallon, I would. I wanted a Blackcap and Royal and believe I have to make a choice even in a 100.
