i have a wetdry made for tanks up to 75g. its a proclear. when i upgrade to a 90-150g tank soon can i still use that over flow box that came with it or do i need to get a bigger one. and would a wet dry for a 75g filter good enough for a tank that is 90 to 150 gallons(havent found a tank yet so idk what size im getting). i will also have a refugium and a skimmer and live rock. it is going to be an agressive tank. thanks

I don't think they would desolve, they would get brittle over time. and break. If you are using a rubberband to attach a coral to a rock, that is fine. Over time the coral will attached itself to the rock and the rubberband can be removed. If you are thinking rubberbanding rocks together to hold them in place. Then no.

Eventually, it will get very soft and break, and over a longer period of time, it will indeed dissolve. I always use rubberbands to attach my seaweed and every so often, it does get lost in the rockwork and I will see a tiny piece of it resurface weeks later.
