rubbermade connections.

i would like to use a couple of rubbermades for my sump and fuge... how would i connect two together? i am figuring i want two one inch pipes, maybe 1.25s, but, my question is.. how do i connect them?
bulkheads?? i thought you needed a straight surface, and my rubbermades arnt that straight...
any ideas??

If it is a typically flexible rubbermaid container...it will flex enough to enable the use of a bulkhead without leaking...mine hasn't leaked yet....and that is without any silicone..just the rubber gasket which came with the bulkhead.
