Rust

On the top of my canopy, there is a large hinge for the opening to the tank, there is rust on it, its not falling into the tank or anything, is this bad?? Thanks, Justin

should not be a problem, yet, but i would change the hinges fefore it does start to gall into the tank, metals and marine do not mix
to start with
