Hi Rye my question is, on a FUJI ( FinePix 3800 ) is their a lens that I can buy for more detail, closeups, etc. I've done some search, but could'nt find anything for this model. Is their maybe some aftermarket lens that is designed for this model. If not I guess it is time for a new camera. This is a good camera but IMO can only do and show so much.

The little lens hood that came with your camera has a filter diameter of 55mm. You should look into getting a Close Up Set of filters for 55mm size and you will be able to focus closer and bring out some serious detail. It doesn't allow you to zoom in any further but, it will let you get really, really close. Good luck.

so their are more filters then the one I have. Are they from fuji or aftermarket.

What filter do you have? You should just have a lens hood and lens cap unless you bought something extra.

That is just the ring that will allow you to use filters. 55mm filters. They screw right onto the front of that adapter.
