I have an eclipse, but I'm not sure what size. I recieved it from my sister, who had it as a fresh water, as I do now. I would like to turn it into a nano SW. So my questions
1. What size gallon is it? It 'looks' like it's about 7 gal. Do they make them in wierd sizes like that? It says model PFEC06, does that mean anything?
2. My sis never did, but I did dose with a couple anti-fungals. Mardel Maroxy, Maracide and Maracyn Two. I checked the ingredients and it doesn't say anything about copper, but just wanted to double check, does anyone know.
3. Currently have one Aquari-lux FL-8 120VAC light bulb. Does anyone know the wattage on this. I bought it for the FW fish and never even thought to look at the box, which was thrown away.
Do they make light bulbs or even a retro-fit for this tank? I think I will just be starting off with mushrooms and softies.

Hi Caryn,

The bulb, is it a 12" bulb? According to my searches, the 8 in FL-8 means 8 watts. Therefore FL-14 = 14 watts, and so on.
I just did a search on google for "Aquari-lux FL-8". Check it out if youre looking for replacement bulbs.
As for retro-fitters, I'm clueless. There may be. You might even find a thread in the DIY section of the forums to retro if youre the handy-type.
I also know nothing about the meds. I'm sure if theres copper in them they would say, but youre smart in asking. Better safe than sorry! Maybe somebody else will know.
BTW, hows the Sun Coral doing? I found a good site for more info on the thing. I'll post how to find it in the Sun Coral post.
