S. Florida / keys shore diving???

is there any decent shore diving in south florida and the keys??? any recomendations? lodging charters?

well, i went snorkeling down there. the company had a dive thing too. it was great, but i dont remember the name. within a reasonable distance of big torch key. oh, and before you go down, reserve a dinner at the "no name pub" on "no name key". all the locals tell you its the best place in the whole keys to eat, and thats why there was a 3 day wait list. crazy.

Depending how far south, West Palm Beach has some real good diving Charters and dive spots. Shore dives are out because the reef is about 3 to 5 miles out. If you are going further south in the keys they have some great wreck dives and reef dives but again have to take a boat out. What is your skill level? Oh, try ScubaBoard.com they have charters info about charters in the Keys.
