Sad day of my Bio-cube tank

My poor cute sweetest percula clown fish is dead, not because of bad water quality. While I was asleep, he jumped into the 3rd chamber at the back, where my Maxi0jet 1200 is located at, poor thing did not have a chance...
Damn you, biocube! Why cant you have a better design?!?!

And Mr. Yellow Watchman, what were you doing?? Aren't you a watchman?!?!?!
Oh well, just used a sponge large enough to block the entrance. Hopefully, same thing won't happen in the future.
ps. Just got several corals and a clam last week, some of them died the very next day. All I can say is you got to be very careful about the fish store you visit. And if the clam is dead already, don't put it in! The remaining will kill your corals by toxifying the water.

I have the 29 BioCube and my first week I threw a couple damsels in there to cycle the tank...the next morning one was missing. I couldnt find him anywhere! About 2 days later I checked the filter and sure enough, there he was, all corroded and stuck to the tray in the middle chamber.
The next week I threw 2 fire fish in the tank. The very next morning, again, 1 of the pair was missing. Checked in the filter, and there it was.. same spot as the damsel!

I made some modifications since then and havent had any more suicides.

The clam was dead before you put it in the tank? They are very colorful corals. You couldn't tell the color was gone?
Also, and please dont take offense, but I have a hard time believing you bought SEVERAL CORAL (what? 3-7??) AND A CLAM, AND THEY WERE ALL SICK OR DEAD BEFORE YOU BROUGHT THEM HOME. No LFS would be in business with that kind of mortality rate. Our BioCubes are small. Did you check your Ammonia levels after the clown died??? What do you test for?
Im keeping my fingers crossed that nothing dies on me in my salt tank. But I can say for sure that in the past - when I lost fish - it was usually my fault (except for my brackish puffers). They never had a chance.
Anyway, hopefully you are right, but wouldn't you have noticed ALL of those sick corals?

Back to the original reason for the post. Sort of anyway. I have a six line wrasse in the third chamber of my nano that has been alive, seemingly happy, and ever so reluctant to leave, going into its third week back there now. I have a rio 800 guaged at 220 gph plus a giant pump for my chiller guaged at 375 gph, besides my heater, some chaeto, and a bit of caulerpa I couldnt bear to throw away, and the fish is doing fine. I do feed it seperately, and keep a fairly good eye on it. I am VERY worried it is going to die and

up two years of work. I have removed everything from the chamber, tried a mini trap, tried to lure it with food into the second chamber, everything. I just cant get it. Sorry for your loss, and be patient when fish die before you add anything. But I am sure you know that.
