It has been over 23 days since a fish was in my reef tank. The 2 fish that I still have are healthy in my quarantine tank. When I took down my reef tank I gave the 5% remaining water a heavy dose of anti ich meds..and then refilled all the water back up. Once the (non salt) water was in I cranked up the heat for about 24 hours...then I added the salt to 1.023 and added back my live sand and rock. I also added some more live sand. Then about a week later I added back the corals. It's been over 3 weeks now... can i add my 2 fish (black and white damsel and false perc. clown) back to the tank. They never showed any signs of ich and still show no signs. Can i put them back in yet?

What meds did you use? If you used copper it will still be in your tank even though you took everything out and put it back in later.

geez...i'm not that new! :) No it's not copper...it's actually reef safe...it's Rx P by kent marine...even after i used it i took more water out. The tank has totally clean good water in there...the corals are thriving. I just want to make sure there is no way the ich is still there...or if these fish were "immune" to it before they will be immune to it again?

IMO i would put in the damsel first, for a week or two, or but two or 3 cheap damsels and see how they react, no sense loosing expensive fish
