safe silicona?????

O.K. I need the groups knowledge on this one. I need to know if "DAP window
and door 100% silicone rubber sealant" is safe for use in an aquarium. I
bought it because on the tube it says "Safe for food contact". Any reply
needed

I would think so. Just make sure it is completly dry before exposing to the water. STEVE

Im not sure about that one but home depot does sell silicone that can be used for aquariums but you have to read all the fine print on the tubes to find which one it is. Why take the chance if you can buy a type that says for aquarium use.
