Allright, heres the situation:
I have had my Sailfin Tang for over two years now...and this guy has made it through 2 moves now and I don't want to lose him!
However, about 4 months ago my tank went through a "death" cycle and I lost every fish with the exception of my tang with what I believed at the time was Marine Velvet (through descriptions on this board). Now the champ is suffering from something that appears to be fin-rot but with other symptoms. His dorsal fin is now about a 1/3 of the size and his anal fin is not looking good either. I have read on other sites about Tang Disease or Marine Tuberculosis, which both have the symptoms of fin-rot (as the other sites say). He does also have lesions on both sides of his head right above his eyes....these lesions have been there for a long time, and I do believed are "healed".
I could use some help with some treatments or just some good old advice on what to do.
