I bought my 90 gallon tank in Jan '06 and it was a complete, existing setup that came with two tangs. The smaller tank I started with a few months prior came with a very small blue hippo and I combined the fish and rock etc into the larger tank.
Well, it's now nine months later and I know I need to find a new and bigger home for the big guy(the Sailfin Tang). He is very healthy and active but I know it's unfair to keep all three in my tank. They all get along fine, I've never had a problem. I have a very peaceful tank and I've never had ick or any disease.
I would like to find a home for my Sailfin rather than take him to the LFS where I don't know that he won't end up in an environment that offers less space than mine. I would like to trade, if possible, for coral or frags. My main concern is proper placement for Mr Sailfin. I also have some very large snails that have cleaned my tank SOooo well, I no longer have enough natural food for them. The largest is approx 3-4" across the base and there are two smaller that are approx 1 3/4" across. I can take these to the LFS for trade but thought I would see if anyone local that I could meet and trade with is interested. I live in Illinois, 50 miles from the QC and 50 miles from Peoria. I am getting T5 lighting next week and will be able to have things other than softies......yea!!!
Anybody in Illinois interested?? Absolutely NO Shipping. Too risky for this special guy.
Thanks for looking! :happyfish
