Recently my sailfin had ick and other fishes too, but its been treated with copper safe and its gone now. However my sailfins lips has damage on it, that looks like it got bitten or a small chunk had came off. What is it? It wouldnt have been the other fishes cause hes the king of my tank. Any meds I can use to heal damage parts?

Can you get a pic up of this??
When did this happen? While the fish was still suffering with the ich, or during/after the copper treatment?? Can the fish still eat?

I got no way of taking a pic. But I can tell you that it happen during treatment while he had ick. I dunno if it was the copper safe or parasite or got bitten but I doubt it. It looks like a piece of his lips has came off, its not cotton mouth disease cause theres no white stuff on it. Dunno what this is and its getting worst.

Is the fish in a QT?? If so, I would recommend doing hyposalinity [to reduce stress] and adding stress coat to the water.
Is the fish eating or not?
If the mouth does not start to heal up on its own in a day or 2 then you can begin an antibiotic treatment with Maracyn Two for SW fish.

Its not in a QT but its eating and swimming good, except you can partially see its teeth bone. I saw an article called Trigger with a bad mouth, where TerryB offered to use nitrofurazone(furacyn). How should I go about this, cause seems that its not looking any better. They had just recently got off ick with coppersafe. What is the best solution to cure my sailfin, and not stress him so much.

Copper is a bad choice for tangs, but what is done is done. You can not treat with antibiotics in your display.
Nitrofurazone is an antibiotic.
