i just got some new Salifert test kits. in the KH/Alk kit there is a small bottle called "alkalinity reference" says 6.6 dKH +/- 0.3 ... what is this stuff ? the direcrtions say nothing about
It's a human calibrator.
If you use that stuff to run a test, your results should be 6.6.
If they are not then you are doing something wrong, well, that or the test is old and needs replaced.
