salifert calcium test??????

when i test my calcium with thesalifert calcium test, i would add the test liquid drop wise until the color turned blue. but sometimes after the test water turns blue about 30 second later) it turns back to pink and then i would add another drop of teh clear test liquid and then the saltwater would turn blue and stay blue. should i read the chart when the salt water first turn blue or should i read the chart after i added an additional drop and it stay blue permanently??

Make sure it changes to blue and not purple and then do the reading. Once it changes to blue, the results should be completed. Do the reading then and clean out the tube.

I had the same problem interpreting the test when I first used it. I was told to add the drop and wait. If it did not stay blue, keep adding the drops until the blue was stable.
