Salinity Level

What does everybody use as a baseline specific gravity for agressive set-ups? I've read that between 1.020-1.025 is the range, but I have also read that the ocean sits at 1.026. So I was wondering what is preferred.....

I keep mine at 1.021, in a fish only tank or fowlr the lower salanity has less stress on the fish.

Hi:
Just keep your Fo tank at the normal salinity. 1.023-25.
The old myth is that lower salinity prevents infections.In fact lower salinity does reduce infection, however the salinity has to be really low(1.009). Keeping your Fo tank at 1.014-018 does nothing but save you salt.

I try to keep mine as natural as possible, 1.026!

Mine is set at 1.024... They havent complained yet....
