Salinity question

You have probably covered this many times but I am just checking. My book says 1.020 to 1.024. Mine is reading 1.022 which is in the middle. My question is this; my LFS says that for good reef, salinity should be 1.023 What do you think. I want everyone to be happy and healthy. I am adding more corals.

Salinity should be 1.023 +or- 2 but 1.023 is what you strive to keep it at. goodluck. Missy

My reef stays about .1022 and does very well missy is correct tho in her range and you should do just fine.
