Salinity

I've been looking for an hour now: I've had my 55gal up and running for over a year at 1.022 salinity. I have peppermint shrimp, clown, royal gramma, algae blenny, scarlet crabs, 1 pencil urchin, 1 purple urchin and everyone seems happy. I've been reading that this salinity it too low. Is it? Any opinions?

If its actual salinity yes its on the low side but nothing to be concerned about. You creatures have obviously acclimated to what you are using. If its specific gravity with water at normal tank tempature (78-82deg) then its fine as well (but more accepted reading).

most fish that i have seen they suggest it at 1.020-1.025 so sounds to me that you would be fine...i run same level in my 55
