I am having some probs with my hammer coral, everything looks fine except my salinity. It is reading a bit high around 26 should I dilute it a bit to bring it around 23?

Your probably going to get varying answers, but yes. That may be too high spec grav for it. Some inverts like high SG, but not that high.
How long do you think its been like this? Dropping it suddenly can actually be more stressfull than the high SG. I would bring it down over 10-14 days time and see what happens.
AND REMEMBER- water evaporates, salt does not!
