Sally Crab Molted

And Then the fish ate her
I was so excited this morning when I found that my sally crab had molted. But my joy turned to horror when I noticed that the puffer ate her.
LFS said he might eat the Small hermit crabs but wouldn't go after my larger crabs. He must have seen a good opportunity when Sally Molted.
I was ready to cry this morning.

get some more live rock and pile it on before you try another. Crabs and shrimps will molt out in the open so a fish is distracted and then hide deep in the live rock in a spot where fish cannot get them before their shell hardens. My guess is that you didnt have enough small spaces for the sally to hide.
