Salt build up on Mixing bucket

So I have a 44 gal brute garbage can that I have been mixing my water in. I mix the water after about a week I get a ton of salt build up in the garbage can on the sides. I have a pump on the bottom to push water around and a power head on top. I am using instant ocean salt. And using tap water I treat it before putting salt in.
Does anyone else have this problem? I am thinking I may need to get a RO/DI filter

Yep, we all get that. Wash it off with white vinegar and rinse well.

Most likely its undissolved calcium carbonate just rinse your container

Ok thank I wasnt sure I have been scrubbing it and rinsing it out every time before I fill it back up I will have to try the vinegar next
