salt creep

I'm having trouble with salt creep...what is it? is it harmful if it falls back into my dt? and how do I stop it or even control it.

It is salt build up from water mist or water leaks. Fix all leaks and preventing any air bubbles from braking where the mist can settle will rid it. The salt can burn animals if they come in contact with it before it dissolves.
