OMG GUYS...check this out....
I have been using IO reef for a good while now.....in this post Jeff mentioned gthe film on his equipment and container....and I also said I get some here and there.
I wash my can every few times...BUT LOOK AT THIS....I made one batch of water....I will have to re-do the brute in a vinegar mix before I use it again.....My new salt comes Monday...so I will do a w/c with it next weekend

i have gone through i think 5 buckets of the aqua vitro.and i use a glass 45 gallon tank to mix.the glass has no white on it at all.crystal clear.
might want to soak your pumps in vinegar to clean them.

Yeah I know....what I usually do it run the pump thru the brute with the vinegar in it.
This has never happened like this before though
not after 1 waterchange....NOW If I made water up and left it for a while...I have had build up....never like this
I wonder if IO did something to their salt??

Spanko yesterday, or the day before, posted a link to a TOTM page. I was very interested to read how those folks did things differently to achieve their goals.
One of the TOTM winners mixes 2 different salts. He said (paraphrasing) this mix is high in this and that and that other mix is high in the other. He blends the two to get the parameters he prefers.

Not to uncommon. I've read more people doing the exact same thing, to get the best of both worlds.....

Hey thanks Joe, I will have to take a run to A&R and see how over priced they are lol - They sometimes tend to jack up prices
