I use Instant Oceon myself. There has been a lot past discussion on this. If you use the search utility you can see what was said in the past.

Yes agreed Instant Ocean my brand and TangMan is right there was a long discussion on this not long ago just go to search upper right and ask for Instant Ocean or just Salt and you will find more then you wanted I am sure. I see you are new and welcome to you. A lot of our members are not familiar with the search feature here which allows fast look ups for I need a answer right now questions. Also, with all the members here the chance is most questions can be found there and then further needs can be posted for clarity.

Just a note about the IO. I have used it for years and always had luck with it. I use it in my full reef and that tank is a showpiece. I fought the urge for a reef thinking it was beyond my ability to make it work, but a year ago May I went for it with a new 58 Gal Oceanic set up and it has worked out better then I could have hoped for so I must say the IO still gets my business.

I have used Deep Ocean Synthetic Sea Salts and IO and currently use IO just because I can get it in bigger containers. I have not had a problem with either brand. Since I purchase most of my corals, fish and live rock from the same place I try to lean towards products that they use as well as keep salinity and such near levels close to theirs so that I have fewer problems with my livestock.
