Salt can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to an hour, it just depends on the water circulation and the type of salt used.

I used that brand before it does take some time, about 30 min. with good circulation. I highly urge you to start buying instant ocean. It's disolved in minutes and ready to go. It is recommened though, to let sit and aerate(sp) for some time.
