Salterwaterfish.com's Live Rock

It's very nice. Easy to cure, lots of nice critters in there (feather dusters, vermetid snails, etc.). Very healthy.
Only one minor thing: when they say 20-25 pounds, they mean EXACTLY 20.0 pounds--including all packaging. Still a fairly good deal for the price, though, relative to other sources.

It is supposed to be pre-cured, but there is always likely to be some die-off during shipping. Curing is not the huge deal it's cracked up to be. Just put it in a rubbermade container full of saltwater (or directly into your tank, if it's a new tank without any inhabitants) with a powerhead and heater for a while. How long depends upon how much die off you see, but basically it will go through a cycle. When the ammonia and nitrite levels drop back to zero, it's pretty much cured.
But to be clear, the live rock I've ordered from swf.com has come very nearly cured. Smelled pleasantly of the sea. Nothing nasty.

exactly what I was going to say.
Well any way Loved IT!!! I got the 45-50 lb. one and the 20-25 lb. one Both were awsome got coralline algae right away as long as your calcium is at the right level. For the 20-25 lb. one The total weight was about 24.75lb. and the 45-50lb. one was a total of about 50.25lb.! I have tons of plants that are growing I had a really tiny snail that I saw and some feather dusters.
Any ways It is really healthy Live Rock!

Im thinking about ordering some rock from here... but i dont want to deal with the hassle of "recuring" it.
It states on the live rock that you can just put it in ur tank once it arrives...... because its cured twice? or something like that... and they have very good shipping methods or whatever..
Do i still have to cure it?

ANY rock that is shipped to you will have to be cured. Shipping kills things on/in the rock. Dead things rot. Rotting spikes ammonia.... Now, some rock is better cared for pre-shipping. That's the difference. You want rock to be out of the water for as little time as possible.

Usually in a styrofoam box wrapped in moist newspaper.
Which, incidentally, tells you if you got the rock fresh or not. If your rock is wrapped in the Fiji Times Herald you probably need to complain.
