Saltinity Adjust

I have a question to ask about fish that are shipped. Lets say for instants that the water with the fish in it...The saltinity is 1.025 but my aquarium water is 1.023...Would I need to actually adjust my aquarium water to the bag that the fisj is in to 1.025??

you need to drip line your new fish for a hour that way your temp and alk will match your water

An hour drip might be OK for some species of inverts/fish

but most fish require a 2-4 hour drip. There is no need to adjust your display water... this is the reason why we not only take proper time in acclimating the fish.. but also placing the fish in a QT system for 4-6 weeks to make sure the fish will be free from disease....
