Saltwater noob need some good advice

Hi everyone

, just wanted some suggestions on what I need to know in setting up a FOWLR breeder tank. I know I will need to get X# of LR, heater, refractometer, test kits, protein skimmer, aragonite sand, 10K bulb, IO salt, QT(what size would u suggest?). Appreciate all the help and I thank u all in advance for all the suggestions and advice.

1 to 1.5 pounds of live rock per gallon. Some do more. Some do less. QT should be atleast a 30. If you are doing a breeder Im assuming 30 to 60 gallons you can only house certain sized fish so the qt doesnt need to be huge.
Setting a sump? You really should. They only help. You seem on the right track. Now just start looking for good deals and put it together. You're still about a month away from adding a fish if you started today
