What would be better to use- saltwater that is already mixed or mix the saltwater yourself? For sharks. :jumping:

saltwater u mix for urself is more conveinent, if u use premixed sw u might have bacteria or other pathogens u dont want

I use self made as I can control the ph and levels. I live in So Cal, so when I set up my shark tank I was going to have Catalina water delivered to my house. But after doing some research, belive it or not my mix was better than the real thing. Better buffer, better cal levels and ph was right on the mark. I was also able to get the salinity perfect.

Well assuming that for a shark you have at least a 200g tank minimum, you should certainly be in the habit of mixing your own. Otherwise it is just impractical.
