dose anyone have a reason i should not buy already mixed salt water?
it is only a dallor a gal at my lfs is why i ask it is lmost as cheap as buying the salt and mixing it myself <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

I would do that if my lfs did that but i would find out first how he makes it up weither using tap water or ro/di water. Also it would depend on the salts because there are some real cheap salts out there that are high in phosphates and do not have all the trace elemints in it that you need.

Well It does sound like it is a good idea and price for the convenience. I wish I had a store that did that around were i live. But I do have to say it is much cheaper buying your own salts and miking it your self. I can make up 200 gallons of Tropic Marine Salts for less then $60.00 and I always have it on hand and to my specifications of salinity and add buffers if I want.

great idea-if you don't mind hauling it. How big is your tank? that could be alot of water to carry.

right w only have a 30 gal. but when i get my 90 cycle finshed i will mix my owan water

damn $1 a gallon, i get mine for 50 cents a gallon her in florida. and theres a whole mess of stores that sell ater here. <img src="graemlins//bah.gif" border="0" alt="[bah]" />
