Sand bed Question

I am about to go out and buy my sand and I heard that you could seed sand from Home Depot with Live sand. Is this true, and If so what kind of sand do I need to buy from Home Depot. Thanks in advance for any help!!!

The sand that you are looking for is only sold on the east coast.But if you can find it,It's Southdown Tropical Play Sand.

Is that the only type of play sand that I can use?
