sand cleaner

What seems to work best for cleaning/stirring up the sand in a reef set up. 75gallon tank with sump.

ive actually had luck with feeder/bait shrimp; ive got a 55 and two feeder shrimp keep it stirred up and nice and clean.

I don't have a top so not sure the goby will be a good idea. I'll have to look into the fighting conch.

Yepper, and I have no tops on mine either. He never comes more than about an inch off the sand. Best sand cleaner I have ever seen. Tons of fun to watch.

A very good detrivore for keeping your sand clean is a sea cucumber. Just be sure that you have an adequately sized tank for whatever creature you decide on. Some will starve if not.

Ok the best combo I have found is a sleeper goby, doesnt really swim higher than 1/2 tank most of the time, and Nassarius snails.
