sand help!

my sand is finally settled, but when i turned on my powerhead the water got all milky and i couldnt see anything, how can i fix this problem?

Are you certain the powerhead isn't too strong? Or maybe just positioned badly?

dont point the powerhead at the bottom of ur tank

This is actually pretty normal especially if you didn't rinse the sand before you added it to your tank. As long as your powerheads aren't pointing at the sand and digging holes in your sand you are fine and the water should clear in a few days as bacteria starts to form on the particles causing them to get heavier and drop out of the water column. If you have a canister filter you could use that to help clear the water faster but its not needed.
