Sand on Corals

I have a question, my tank is currently fowlr and will be getting lighting soon. Now my favorite fish i have is a Banded Sleeper Golby and he loves to grab mouths full of sand and filter it out through his gills and get it everywhere, what kind of problems could this cause with him getting sand all over corals, if any?

most corals can clear some sand off themselves, if you notice one isnt just move it up where its less likley to get dumped on.

alright cool. he pretty much goes everywhere, he can make it just about to the top of the tank and a foot or two across the tank by the time all the sand has fallen out sometimes, fun to watch. I'll be putting more rock in soon too so that should help limit how how far he get can from where he can get sand and dump it.

actually keep corals off the sandbed where he might make mountains in the sand and cover up coral tissue completely and you will be fine. i have a diamond goby that covered up a favites brain and killed a lot of flesh
