sand on my mushrooms! need help!

I gravel siphoned my sand for the first time and there is sand all over my tank. my mushroom coral has sand all over it as well, should this be a major concern, or will it go away on its own? Please help.

Don't mess with your sandbed to much, could be trouble. Take a turkey baster and blow the sand off the shrooms.

I don't think you are supposed to gravel siphon sand, only gravel like crushed coral substrates. Sand is too fine and will get sucked up....instead you rely on a good clean up crew to groom your sand bed and clean it.

that is correct..DON"T mess with sand...and as for CC don't even use it!

turkey basters are a lifesaver! Mine came in really handy for even getting sand out of crevices in my live rock...
