sand purchased with tank

I hope this is in the right forum. I purchased a 72g bowfront yesterday. It has alot of sand, still wet and doesn't smell. I am not setting up the tank right now, I actually bought it for the ro/di system. I got the whole setup for $100 so I couldn't pass it up. How can I store the sand to re-use it? I am not ready to set this up yet. It is very clean. I just hate to throw anything out that is re-useable.

rinse it out very well. leave it to dry. store in plastic bags or in a rubbermaid container till your ready to use it.
