Orangespot Diamond Gobies are extremely hard workers and you can get them in pairs...they're also fun to watch!

Yeah I have one but they can be a pain too. They like to pick up anything they can fit in there mouth and move it around. I got a feather duster two days ago and appartently he doesn't like where I placed it so he picked it up and moves it around the tank. Same with my blue legged hermit crabs. If they get to close he will pick them up and spit them across to the other side of the tank. They are very intertaining though and I wouldn't trade him in for anything.

diamond goby's will keep your sand white as the day you bought it, but! they are very messy and will get sand everywhere. They also think life on the outside is better than in the tank (they jump)
Nass. Snails work and sifting the sand, but wont do much to keep it white.
Sand Sifting stars do a good job, but eat the diatoms that grow in the sand
Conchs do a good job as well

hmmm, orangespot diamond goby, never seen em. jumping isnt a problem, since my wrasse is also excused of being a jumper, i am going to line the top of the tank with egg crate. btw, i have never seen a orangespot diamond goby, are they rare?
oh and also, are they one of those active gobys, or do they just make a burrow and stay there?

they are active however they will burrow..and they're not rare...
they're generally around $21.00
if your LFS doesn't have them, you can order them from pretty much any site on the internet...just find the one with the best life guarantee

Here is the best pic i had of mine before he jumped... And they are bad jumpers. I've had 2 and both jumped to thier fate. Mine also hid a lot as well. They seem to like darkness
